About the title
Since the beginning of time the mortal world was ruled by the Shang dynasty, and all local princes sent their sons to the royal court as a sign of submission. While putting down a rebellion in one of the provinces, the young prince Yin Shou accidentally awakens an imprisoned fox demon, who possesses the body of the rebellious prince's daughter after she takes her own life. She indulges his base desires — the emperor and his eldest son die, and Yin Shou becomes ruler, bringing a Great Curse upon the mortal world. To prevent chaos, the gods of Mount Kunlun decide to send mankind an artifact of incredible power — the List of Immortals — which Jiang Ziya volunteers to deliver, accompanied by Nezha and Erlang.
