About the series
The religion of Islam, like Christianity, has at all times raised many questions not only among believers but also among historians. There are countless stories connected to the enigmatic figures of the prophets who conveyed the word of God to the wider masses of believers. The series presented, "Umar ibn al-Khattab," is one such work, built on real events and the life of one of the most famous caliphs, who earned a reputation as a righteous and wise advisor to several generations of Islamic rulers. This series is by no means propagandistic; its episodes reveal only proven historical facts and situations that marked the notable figure of the caliph in his righteous wanderings. The production was made without obscene scenes or any of the departures fashionable in modern cinema, so it will be useful viewing not only for adults but also for the younger generation.
