About the series
The protagonist of the series is Falco, a young but highly talented police officer investigating a complex case. He seems to be closing in on a dangerous criminal, but during the chase, Falco is involved in an accident that puts him into a coma for thirty long years. After such an extended period unconscious, Falco returns to the world of the living. He is now forty-seven years old, yet he still remembers the case that turned out to be his last. The world has changed beyond recognition, but Falco believes that even under such uncomfortable circumstances, he must solve the case from all those years ago. For now, though, the man returns to duty, where he'll be paired with a young detective for investigations. In him, Falco will see himself thirty years ago, but will he be able to protect his colleague from the mistakes he himself made in the past?
