About the series
New York, 1980s. Vincent, a puppeteer and creator of a popular children's TV show, tries to find his son, who went missing on the way to school. One day Vincent finds his son's drawings depicting a fantastical creature named Eric. The desperate father becomes obsessed with the idea that if he puts Eric on television, the boy will return. Meanwhile, the family and detectives notice that the man's behavior is becoming increasingly dangerous.
