About the title
90-year-old Eleanor, after the death of her friend Bessie, a Holocaust survivor, moves from Florida to New York to live with her daughter and grandson. Her descendants have no time for Eleanor, so to avoid loneliness she joins a local Jewish seniors' group. There, because of her age, Eleanor is mistaken for a Holocaust survivor, and she begins sharing Bessie's stories. A 19-year-old journalism student named Nina pays special attention to the woman's story.
