About the series
Lera is a celebrated Moscow obstetrician and an advocate of natural childbirth. One of her patients is Masha, the young mistress of influential businessman Shakhov. The girl is to give birth to his long-awaited heir, but due to complications during delivery, the baby is born in extremely critical condition. Shakhov launches an investigation, the results of which will determine the fate not only of the clinic but also of Lera herself — the main suspect in the tragedy that occurred.
