About the title
The dowager Countess Violet Crawley inherits a lavish villa in the south of France, and the whole family sets off on a grand journey to uncover the secrets of the new estate. Meanwhile, filming of a feature film begins at Downton Abbey, and the estate's residents must come to terms with the modern world encroaching on Downton. The film is a sequel to "Downton Abbey" and is connected to the television series of the same name.
