About the title
Determined to root out crime in New York, partners Ray Pluto and Jerry Cubbins aren't having much success. What's more, instead of his gun, it's Pluto's back that keeps "firing" — always at the worst possible moment. Who knows, they might have had to turn in their badges, if the city's criminals weren't even bigger losers than they are!
