About the title
The entire life of talented high schooler Sophie Birenbaum is devoted to achieving one main goal. The seventeen-year-old dreams of successfully passing the audition and landing the lead role in the school musical. Sophie rehearses constantly and prepares diligently for the audition. But right before her decisive moment on stage, the heroine receives a voice message accidentally sent by her father and learns terrible news. The schoolgirl finds out that her mother, Elizabeth, has cancer, and doctors give little hope for a cure.
