About the title
Many years have passed since the young psychic boy Danny Torrance survived a nightmarish season at the Overlook Hotel, where he witnessed his father's madness and death. Now grown up but never having recovered from his childhood trauma, Danny leads the life of an alcoholic drifter. Another "shining" girl, Abra, establishes a connection with him. She will need Danny's help to avoid becoming a victim of the so-called "True Knot" - a group of hunters who prey on gifted children. An adaptation of Stephen King's novel "Doctor Sleep".
