About the series
Spring 1945. The armed forces of Nazi Germany are preparing to repel the onslaught of Soviet troops in East Prussia, which could prove fatal for the Germans. The front line is relentlessly approaching Königsberg. The German command orders Wehrmacht and Volkssturm units to turn the city into an impregnable fortress, preparing it for a prolonged defense. Now Königsberg cannot be taken from outside! A few weeks before the Red Army's offensive, Alexei Bobrikov and Leonid Filatov receive orders to infiltrate the impregnable city to carry out sabotage missions, the most important of which is finding a weak point in Königsberg's fortifications for the least bloody possible assault. Leonid and Alexei make their way into the besieged city and begin what is perhaps the most cunning and deadly reconnaissance operation of their lives. And an unexpected ally will help them organize the "perfect assault"...
