About the title
The third installment in the Detective Dee saga tells of his new incredible adventures. Having received from the emperor a powerful artifact capable of taming dragons, the detective not only gains new abilities but also falls under suspicion of Empress Wu — she grows worried that he might try to seize power and wants the artifact returned to her at any cost. Now Detective Dee must defend his name and solve a mysterious case in which palace intrigue and supernatural events sweeping the city are closely intertwined.
