About the series
December 1978. 15-year-old Robert Piest (Ryker Baloun) disappears after talking about a job with contractor John Wayne Gacy (Michael Chernus). His mother Elizabeth (Marin Ireland) raises the alarm, prompting an investigation by detectives (Gabriel Luna and James Badge Dale). They begin digging into the friendly Gacy, not yet knowing that his basement is a mass grave.
