About the title
Victoria, a former field operative, is settling into a normal life with her beloved husband, a psychologist. But after a criminal's attack on the job, she is unable to have children. The couple decides to take in six-year-old Dasha for the weekend, whose parents died in a fire. Then strange things start happening in their country house. The girl behaves secretively and sometimes aggressively, drawing frightening pictures and ruining toys. In her drawings, Vika recognizes the victims of that very criminal — now she's absolutely certain: the villain is alive, and he's somewhere nearby.
