About the series
Nastya Kukushkina led an ordinary, quiet life. She taught choreography to children at a dance studio and raised her teenage daughter Alisa, trying to stay upbeat. Nastya herself grew up in an orphanage, and her circle of loved ones is very small: her daughter, her best friend and neighbor, and the man she loves, whom she met at work. One day, on her way home from work, Nastya finds herself surrounded by a group of grim men who insistently ask her to get into their car. She tries to run, but they catch her. Only by sheer luck does Nastya manage to escape and hide in the forest. But the hunt for her and Alisa doesn't stop. Realizing they've lost their prey, the criminals launch a full-scale operation to capture the fugitive. The perpetrators are connected to a wealthy businesswoman whose mother recently died, leaving her the company. But what could she possibly want from a modest teacher who grew up in an orphanage?
