About the title
When the notorious robber Hotzenplotz leaves his forest hideout to steal the beloved musical coffee grinder belonging to Kasperl's grandmother, the clumsy town police sergeant can do little to help arrest him. Young Kasperl and his friend Seppel decide to track down the thief themselves, but stopping him won't be easy — especially since the evil wizard Petrosilius, who lives in a terrifying castle where he imprisons our heroes, is mixed up with Hotzenplotz. Together with a fairy who has been turned into a toad, Kasperl and Seppel must escape the castle, catch the two wicked crooks, and return the coffee grinder to Kasperl's beloved grandmother.
