About the title
Eight very different people find themselves at a crossroads and must make a decision that will forever change their lives and themselves. Jack must figure out whether he's ready to spend the rest of his life with his girlfriend Terry. Marina must reunite with her aging father. Laurel finds out she is pregnant and that her father has early-onset Alzheimer's. And Dave must come to understand why life is worth living. Joy, grief, confusion, sorrow, denial — the characters live through these emotions and choose which direction to move in next.
