About the title
Electrical engineer Mike Williams enjoys his mornings with his beautiful wife, quizzes his little daughter on the mechanics of drilling rigs, and prepares to head out for his work shift on the Deepwater Horizon oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico. He doesn't yet know that instead of a peaceful nap in the break room, he's about to face a branch of hell on earth during the largest oil spill in U.S. history.
