About the title
The action of the film takes place aboard the steamer "Karnak," sailing down the Nile, where Poirot is forced to investigate the death of a wealthy heiress. Gradually the detective realizes that murder is not the only offense being committed, either directly on board or earlier, by the people sailing on the "Karnak." Among the passengers are two thieves, a con artist, a rabid communist, and even an international terrorist. Based on the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie.
