About the title
US Border Patrol agent Angel Waters conscientiously carries out his daily duty. One day, an intruder crosses the border. At first glance, the case seems quite ordinary, but it soon becomes the source of Angel's nightmares. By a tragic coincidence, the detained man dies on a remote outpost, having only managed to utter the phrase "El Paso, please." Together with his colleagues, Waters secretly buries the dead intruder and vows to keep the incident secret. However, several days later, while patrolling the river area, Angel unexpectedly encounters the same man again, who once more calmly says: "El Paso, please." Waters begins to feel like he's losing his mind, and it seems this mysterious man will haunt him forever.
