About the title
When his old friend David "Coop" Cooper returns from service in the Marine Corps, John talks him into joining him on an open-water voyage aboard his new yacht, the "Bella." David accepts the invitation and sets off on the cruise together with his wife Vivian. But along the way the boat's engine fails, and the trio finds themselves stranded far from civilization with no hope of a quick rescue.
