About the title
On the morning of February 8, 1977, 44-year-old Anthony J. Kiritsis walked into the office of Richard O. Hall, president of Meridian Mortgage Company, and took him hostage using a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun. To protect himself and ensure his demands were met, Tony wired the gun's trigger to Hall's head. The kidnapper demanded 5 million dollars, that all charges against him be dropped, and a personal apology from Hall for swindling him out of money he was owed.
