About the title
The year is 2019. A global epidemic has turned most people into vampires, pushing humanity to the brink of extinction. A peaceful future doesn't await the bloodsuckers either, however: amid a blood shortage they are forced to cherish and protect every remaining human being — or synthesize a blood substitute. A group of scientists tries to fight the coming end of the world by searching for a way to combat vampires.
