About the title
Eddie is a divorced social worker who despises Christmas because of a traumatic experience from his childhood. However, his daughter Charlotte adores the holiday, so Eddie spends Christmas Eve with her. When he's suddenly called to work, he takes his daughter along, but an unexpected encounter with a strange man in a red suit calling himself Santa Claus dramatically changes their plans — they'll have to set off on magical adventures that could restore Eddie's belief in Christmas.
