About the title
Central Asia expert Martin Behrens is a special agent of the German Federal Intelligence Service, convinced that his work makes an important contribution to national security. His life quickly spirals out of control when terrorists attack a restaurant in Munich. One of the victims of the attack turns out to be his girlfriend, Auris Köhler. The fact that they were a couple must be kept secret. But was Auris really just a random victim? Gradually, Martin Behrens finds himself drawn into intrigue, power games, and corruption. He realizes that the real enemy is hiding not outside, but within his own ranks.
