About the series
"Dark Winds" is an American psychological thriller series created by screenwriter Graham Roland based on Tony and Anne Hillerman's "Leaphorn and Chee" book series. The noir thriller "Dark Winds" is set in the early 1970s in the American Southwest. It is the story of Navajo police officers who are forced to defy their own spiritual beliefs while searching for clues in a double murder case. The duo of police officers try to find the connection between two seemingly unrelated crimes. In their search for a serial killer, the detectives face a difficult task: investigating a vast territory without leads or witnesses.
