About the series
The events of this series unfold during the Cold War. At the center of the plot is the real story of Annie Silva Paiș, who was the only daughter of the director of Portugal's political police. She was a remarkable woman, endowed with incredible beauty. But most importantly, Annie was a freedom-loving person with a rebellious spirit. When the girl turned 25, she met a Swiss diplomat and soon married him. Along with her husband, who is sent on a work assignment to Cuba, Annie flies to Havana. She does not share the political views of her father, who serves under dictator Salazar. Once in Cuba, the girl begins to express sympathy for the revolutionary movement. For her belief in Cuba's freedom and her secret love for Che, the woman leaves her husband and family, devoting herself entirely to the revolution.
