About the title
Ophthalmologist Grace receives terrible news: her brother, a priest, has committed suicide. Grief-stricken, she travels to a remote convent in the Scottish countryside where the tragedy took place. Grace doesn't believe the church's version of suicide, and the more she tries to find out what happened, the more convinced she becomes that the nuns and a Vatican representative are hiding something.
