About the title
Tom Moran is a detective who has nothing left to lose. He is terminally ill and determined to retire in a way that benefits his family the most — by dying in the line of duty. He gets involved with dangerous people to stage his own death, but ends up entangled in an even deeper conspiracy. It turns out he's not the only one looking to exploit the system: the top brass of the police are also involved in dirty dealings. Well, now Tom simply has no choice: before he dies, he must do something truly important for the city and the law.
