About the title
North Korean border service colonel Cha Ki-sung was involved in supplying smuggled weapons to the army, but one day decided to take advantage of his position and started smuggling drugs across the border as well. He was caught, demoted, and stripped of all his honors. To take revenge on the Juche regime (including for his wife, who died in prison), the former colonel stole the plates North Korea used to print counterfeit dollars, intending to sell them abroad at a profit. If the West (or at least Seoul) finds out that the North is trying to crash the American currency, it could spark a political scandal. For this reason, officer Rim of the internal security forces - whose wife was also killed by Cha Ki-sung - is sent to pursue the fugitive. The fugitive is in Seoul, so for the first time in the history of North-South relations, investigators from both countries must work together. With just one condition: Seoul police detective Kang and his superiors must not learn anything about the missing plates...
