About the title
The life of an experienced thief takes a wondrous turn after he meets a six-year-old boy deprived of parental care. In fact, the boy had only a mother, who suffered from bipolar disorder and abandoned her child to keep wandering the world. Genuinely concerned about the orphan's future, the not-very-talkative man allows him to stay temporarily in his own house. But the seeming calm of this unusual family is soon shattered, as the authorities pick up the trail of the notorious criminal.
