About the title
Frédéric Bouvier-Sauvage is very proud of his centuries-old lineage, full of distinguished French dukes and dignitaries. So he is deeply unhappy that his only daughter, Alice, is dating François, a young man from a poor family and the son of a car salesman. Despite this, the lovers announce their intention to marry and, at a meeting of both families, give their parents an unusual gift: on the eve of the wedding, the future spouses decided to check their ancestry and took a DNA test. Both families are in for something much bigger than just a surprise.
