About the title
The father of a young girl named Ella, having been widowed, marries a second time, and soon Ella finds herself alone with her greedy and envious new relatives — her stepmother Lady Tremaine and her daughters Anastasia and Drizella. From lady of the house, she becomes a servant, perpetually covered in ashes, for which her spiteful stepsisters give her the nickname Cinderella. Despite the misfortunes that befall her, Cinderella does not despair, for even in the hardest moments there is something that helps her think of good things: for example, a chance meeting on a forest path with a handsome young man. Ella has no idea that she has met the prince himself, and that soon her Fairy Godmother will change her life for the better forever.
