About the title
British theater critic and hopeless romantic Rachel is supposed to marry young actor Gregory on the eve of Christmas, but once again realizes with regret that she has chosen the wrong man: she is left in tears right at the altar in her wedding dress. The jilted bride decides not to cancel the honeymoon she had planned in the Caribbean, taking her two best friends, Amanda and Rebecca, with her to the resort. Upon arriving in the Caribbean, Rachel unexpectedly meets a charming restaurateur and widower, Alessandro.
