About the title
One winter's day, a young woman named Vianne arrives in a quiet French town. Shortly after, she opens an unusual chocolate shop, inviting visitors to experience a new kind of pleasure. And indeed, once people visit her, they find themselves succumbing again and again to its sweet charm. That's because Vianne has a magical gift for guessing other people's desires — and making them come true! But it's only when Roux arrives in town that Vianne is finally able to understand her own… An adaptation of the novel by Joanne Harris.
