About the title
10-year-old Dune spends every summer vacation on the coast of France, where she comes with her mom and dad. She and her best friend Mathilde wander through the woods, bask in the sun on the beach, watch the local teenagers, and watch horror movies. The girl is growing up, and so the world around her is taking on new colors — as is this particular summer. Dune increasingly understands her parents' problems, and now she wants to spend more time with adults too.
