About the title
After coming out of a coma following many months, young William can finally return home from the hospital to his adoptive parents. However, he simply cannot manage to see the woman who adopted him — his "father" keeps coming up with excuses to delay their meeting. Meanwhile, strange girls start appearing in the house. William begins to suspect that while he was away, "dad" got rid of "mom." But the truth turns out to be far more complicated and terrifying than the young man could have imagined.
