About the series
Richard Castle is a well-known, successful writer, mainly writing crime and detective novels, who in one of his books devised a deadly fate for the main character. However, it seems one of the readers of his works liked the crime stories a bit too much — reports have come in from the provinces of a savage maniac who has suddenly appeared, committing bloody murders with terrifying precision, exactly mimicking the methods Richard used for killings in his own crime novels. The New York police call the writer in for questioning to help them track down the serial killer.
