About the series
The animated series follows Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater as they travel east from Radiator Springs across the country to meet Mater's sister. The main characters are in for incredible adventures, unexpected twists, scrapes, and encounters with new friends. The cartoon cars will pass through highways, forests, an abandoned town, and even drive across the surface of a dried-up salt lake. Along the way, the heroes will run into ghosts, circus performers, monster trucks, as well as mechanical dinosaurs and a community of long-haul truckers.
