About the title
In search of inspiration, young Chicago artist Anthony McCoy decides to explore the history of the neighborhood he recently moved to with his girlfriend. His research leads him to an elderly local resident, who tells him about the notorious killer Candyman, who murders anyone who says his name five times in front of a mirror. Inspired by the story, Anthony creates a piece for an exhibition, at which, after closing, a double murder takes place.
