About the title
After her husband's death, Gloria and her son Ridley move from New York to a remote area of Western Australia to live with her father Spencer. Ridley, unused to the wilderness, gets lost in the Australian outback, where he saves a dingo from death. While Gloria and Spencer search for Ridley, he learns to survive without civilization alongside his new friend.
