About the title
The Troubadour and his impostor friends — the Dog, the Cat, the Donkey, and the self-loving Rooster — have joined forces to perform a great deed. First and foremost, they must make the King's daughter laugh, but meeting the Princess threatens to become a dangerous adventure. Against the Troubadour and his friends stand cunning enemies, intrigues, and traps, but love is worth fighting for. And on top of that, the Princess has run away from the palace. Tangled together are the criminal schemes of the Robbers, the intrigues of the Detective, and the whims and secrets of the royal family, but the cheerful musicians, with the tireless Troubadour, will make everyone dance to their tune.
