About the series
In 1990, Cameron, a constantly bullied high school student, decides to join the Marine Corps along with his best friend Ray. This is a very risky move, since at the time military service could land you in prison or worse. Plunged into the harsh realities of a Marine boot camp, where mines are encountered both literally and figuratively, they join a platoon of young recruits on their grueling journey of transformation.
