About the title
Seventeen-year-old Cécile is enjoying a carefree summer on the sunny coast of France with her adoring father, Raymond. The lightness of days filled with the sea, flirtation, and laughter collapses with the arrival of Anne, a strict and refined woman from her father's past, who eventually and unexpectedly announces her engagement to Raymond. Fearing the loss of her familiar world, Cécile starts a game, unaware of the devastating consequences her actions may have.
