About the title
Jenai and Riley travel from the US to Iceland to enjoy a romantic vacation. At first everything goes perfectly: a cozy town, incredible nature and atmosphere, the northern lights, and warm geysers. Riley even brought his father's old camera to capture all this pristine beauty in its true splendor. But waking up on the morning of the second day, Jenai and Riley discover that something strange is happening at their hotel. Breakfast isn't served, and all the staff have disappeared. Going outside, the couple finds literally no one there: the town, bustling just yesterday, has no people walking about and no traffic. The TV channels don't work, and the news websites are dated the day before. Very soon Jenai and Riley realize that they are completely alone in an empty town — and perhaps in the entire world.
