About the title
Blood Brothers is a remarkable and tragic story about the friendship of two legendary figures of the 20th century: Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer of all time, and Malcolm X, the most controversial and charismatic leader of the Nation of Islam and a fighter for African American rights. They were so different — a brash Olympic champion who rhymed for the amusement of white reporters, and a former convict, a revolutionary intellectual who opposed the oppression of African Americans and considered sport an unworthy pursuit. Yet their bond was deep, and their friendship real.
