About the title
The civilized world has come to an end. Small clusters of apocalypse survivors struggle to survive in a nightmarish reality. There's no gasoline, electricity, or supermarkets, and any stranger could turn out to be a maniac. But the couple Kate and Sam, along with their teenage daughter Susie, have no choice but to trust a stranger. A loner named Joe promises to lead them to a hidden nuclear bunker full of food and medicine. However, the group doesn't manage to stay together for long. Kate is soon separated from her family. She will have to go through fire, water, and everything in between to survive in this savage world and reunite with her loved ones.
