About the series
The series is based on true events. James Keene, a police officer's son serving a ten-year sentence for selling drugs, is offered a chance to drastically reduce his sentence. To do so, he must transfer to a maximum-security prison, get close to serial killer Larry Hall, and learn more about the crimes he's suspected of — ideally, getting a full confession out of him. For Keene, it's his only chance at freedom, but the maniac draws him into a cunning psychological game.
