About the series
At the police station of a coastal port town, rumors say that Captain Makar Klimov was exiled there from Moscow over an affair with the wife of a top boss from Petrovka. Whether that's true or not, nobody knows. Makar likes it in the south: fresh air, beautiful women, none of the capital's bustle. And the house he's been given is right on the seashore. But Klimov's first impression of a quiet provincial life quickly fades: smuggling, drugs, human trafficking — a whole criminal package he has to fight almost single-handedly in this small town. Still, Makar has a loyal friend who helps him with everything — a dog named Bim! During arrests he catches anyone who tries to flee, never passes by a container of drugs, and reacts disapprovingly to Makar's own minor misdeeds, never letting his partner "relax."
