About the title
On the day Chris turned 7, his mother, after arguing with his father, left home and never returned. His alcoholic father spent his whole life believing his wife had been abducted by aliens, so as an adult, Chris dedicated his life to debunking so-called abductions. Together with a cameraman, he goes to a convention to interview people who have had similar experiences. There, the documentarians meet a girl named Alice, who claims that ever since she was 7, she has been abducted every 7 years, and that in just two days it will be her 28th birthday.
